Due poster, un podio e un discorso tremolante
Nella luminosa e allegra Accademia degli Animali, un posticino incantevole pieno di fiori colorati e alberi alti, nell’aria c’era una grande emozione. Era il giorno del Grande Spettacolo dei Talenti! Tutti i giovani animali si stavano preparando per mostrare i loro talenti speciali. Tra loro c’era un piccolo coniglietto bianco e soffice di nome Pippin. Pippin era molto timido, ma amava ballare. Si esercitava ogni giorno nella sua accogliente tana, girando su se stesso e saltellando al ritmo delle sue canzoni preferite. Quel giorno, però, era nervoso. Prima di esibirsi, doveva fare un discorso sul suo ballo!
Mentre Pippin stava davanti al podio, il suo piccolo cuore batteva forte. Il palcoscenico era decorato con due grandi poster colorati. Su un poster c’era un elegante ballerino che saltava nell’aria, mentre sull’altro c’era un broccolo verde brillante con uno strano cappello, che sorrideva a bocca aperta! Il pubblico, formato da animali come allegri scoiattoli e uccellini che ridacchiavano, aspettava con impazienza. Accanto a Pippin c’era una giraffa alta e gentile di nome Ginger. Ginger era famosa per la sua splendida voce canora. «Puoi farcela, Pippin! Fai solo un bel respiro profondo», lo incoraggiò, con i suoi grandi occhi marroni che brillavano di gentilezza. Pippin annuì, ma sentiva ancora tremare le zampette. Quando arrivò il suo turno, Pippin saltellò fino al podio. «Ehm, ciao a tutti», squittì piano, con la voce tremante come una foglia. «Sono Pippin e oggi ballerò per tutti voi!» Il pubblico applaudì e Pippin si sentì un pochino più coraggioso.
Guardò il poster del ballerino e pensò al broccolo con lo strano cappello. «Ballare è divertente, proprio come i broccoli sono salutari!» disse, cercando di ricordare le parole che aveva imparato. Il pubblico ridacchiò guardando il buffo broccolo, mentre Pippin continuava: «Quando ballo, mi sento felice e libero!» Le sue zampette cominciarono a muoversi mentre si preparava per la sua esibizione. Con un ultimo respiro profondo, Pippin cominciò a ballare. Girò su se stesso e saltò, mentre la sua coda soffice rimbalzava a ogni movimento. Il pubblico fece il tifo e applaudì, battendo le zampette e agitando le ali. Pippin sentì la gioia del ballo riempirgli il cuore!
Quando finì il suo ballo, Pippin fece un piccolo inchino. La folla esplose in grida di gioia e applausi, facendolo sentire il coniglietto più felice del mondo. Ginger sorrise con orgoglio e perfino il broccolo sul poster sembrò muoversi dalla felicità! Dopo lo spettacolo, Pippin capì che, anche se all’inizio si era sentito tremare, condividere il suo amore per il ballo ne era valsa la pena. Guardò Ginger e disse: «Grazie per aver creduto in me!» Ginger annuì: «Sei stato bravissimo, Pippin! E ricordati: ogni volta che balli, porti gioia a tutti quelli che ti stanno intorno.» Così Pippin si sentì orgoglioso e felice, sapendo di aver condiviso qualcosa di speciale con i suoi amici. Il Grande Spettacolo dei Talenti fu un giorno che non avrebbe mai dimenticato: pieno di risate, coraggio e un pizzico di magia del ballo!
